Program This course explores drawing in metal engraving by learning techniques that reproduce light, shadow and texture with line. The proposed drawing exercises will imply a detailed observation of works by notable artists in the history of the engraving such as Dürer, Piranesi and Rembrandt among others. The printing techniques explored will allow for the reproduction of the matrix in positive (intaglio) and negative (planographic).
