In this course, participants will be challenged to create a piece of jewellery using techniques such as sawing, filing, engraving and enamelling.

Program In this workshop we will build a small book with photographic images produced through a playful and creative initiation to traditional processes: the “pin-hole” camera and “photograms”. Program The course offers a journey through different eras, geographies, and artistic contexts, where each day we will explore a unique approach to creating and interpreting images. Who paints? Through drawing, painting, and printmaking, participants will explore techniques, materials, and ways of depicting different themes and places in each class.

Program
In this workshop, participants will be invited to imagine, create and film short scenes and cinematic moments through creative writing exercises, improvisation and group games. Over the course of five sessions, they will experiment with different aspects of filmmaking — both in front of and behind the camera — exploring image, sound and editing in a simple, practical and collaborative way.
As well as producing a short film, the workshop offers a playful introduction to the world of cinema, encouraging creativity, cooperation and artistic expression through the creation of short audiovisual narratives.

Program
In this workshop we will build animals from different geometric shapes in wood, inspired on the book CARIMAUX by Gay Wegerif, published by MeMo.
Carimaux is a fun bestiary in which each animal is conceived and designed from a set of squares. Departing from different geometric shapes in walnut, beech, pine, olive, cherry, and oak wood, we will create a unique bestiary. Our materials are woods with different densities, colors, weights, smells, origins, and uses - each participant will work with their chosen woods using simple tools. Finally, the different pieces are joined with dowels and simple wooden joints. This results in a dynamic interplay between shapes, colors, and textures that combine to enhance the participant's imagination and sensory abilities.

Program In this workshop, we will explore the ‘upside-down world’, an age-old concept found in stories and images across many cultures. What if animals ruled over humans? What if the Moon could talk to the Sun? Through games, drawings, collages and printmaking techniques, we will create impossible scenes where everything can be turned on its head. Inspired by old European engravings from the 16th to the 19th centuries, this workshop invites participants to reinvent the world through humour, fantasy and creativity.

Throughout the classes, we will consider perspective, scale, and different ways of representing the environment, observing how each game organizes observation, movement, and transitions between scenes. Each participant will develop their own visual exercises that combine still images and moving images.

Sculpture Workshop for Young People (ages 9 to 14): Kite-plane

Program In this workshop we will build a KITE/AIRPLANE, starting by designing a structure from joints and connections between sticks and small trunks of rockrose, eucalyptus or fig tree. Each participant will prepare the chosen woods with specific woodworking tools, such as small Japanese planes, chisels and gouges, files, rasps and sandpaper. The structure will be consolidated with elastic bands, natural twine and sisal. At this stage of the work, each participant will be able to learn woodworking techniques, develop simple joints, such as the half-lap joint. Finally, part of the structure will be covered with fabrics following the plan of each participant's project. These fabrics will be designed and painted using textile painting techniques.

Program Using tables that divide the images in the comics sheet but that are only partially completed, participants will be invited to create rough comic strips. The main references will be the comics of Olivier Schrauwen (Sunday) and James Joyce (preparatory tables for the writing of Ulysses). Working with everyday life and small events in comics – contemporary contexts. Ways of writing comics. Olivier Schrauwen’s Sunday as an example of a twenty-four-hour portrait of someone’s life. Individual schemes will be created in order to suggest ideas for a day to day story.

Introduction to the potter's wheel: parts, setup, and safety. Understanding clay: where it comes from, types, and properties.
Participants will learn to use different kinds of clay wedges, how to prepare the wheel, center the clay (the first essential skill) and build simple forms (small cylinders, cups).
We will advance to shaping and controlling forms (bowls, wider vessels), work on even wall thickness and height. We will also address common issues like wobbling and collapsing.
Finally we will address firing techniques (bisque firing and glaze firing – what happens in the kiln, temperature ranges, and safety).

In this course, we will explore the creative use of cinematic sound through unconventional sound recording devices. The objective will be the creation of a collective audiovisual piece, developed through practical exercises in listening, exploring and discovering the soundscape.
We will work with tools such as parabolic microphones, seismophones and other devices designed to capture frequencies and vibrations normally imperceptible to the human ear. At the same time, we will build our own musical instruments, expanding the expressive possibilities of sound.
Through these processes, we will approach listening as an active practice, broadening the boundaries of auditory perception and its creative potential.
