Program The printmaking studio opens on tuesdays for Ar.Co students and external participants with the technical support of a teacher. The studio allows for the development of intaglio techniques such as etching, aquatint, drypoint, softground and collagraphs as well as planographic printing such as linoleum. No previous experience is necessary.

Program Developing illustration work in printmaking - linocut and dry point - taking advantage of the specifically graphic qualities of this medium. The aim is to illustrate a story, structure a publication and produce a small book, including cover, back cover, inside pages and inside covers, made jointly by all the students in class.

Program The workshop will explore the techniques of etching, aquatint and linocut. The technical work is always preceded by the presentation and discussion of the works of contemporary artists-engravers and by the execution of drawings and preparatory studies.

Program This course explores drawing in metal engraving by learning techniques that reproduce light, shadow and texture with line. The proposed drawing exercises will imply a detailed observation of works by notable artists in the history of the engraving such as Dürer, Piranesi and Rembrandt among others. The printing techniques explored will allow for the reproduction of the matrix in positive (intaglio) and negative (planographic).
