Preparing a painting – Drawing workshop
In artistic practice, a study is frequently a preparatory sketch for a finished piece.
This workshop challenges students to plan their paintings through preparatory drawings, while endowing these with the value of something which has and produces interest in itself.
With that objective in mind, different materials will be used to explore aspects such as light, colour, form and composition, as well as different contents like the human body, objects and generic images.

Program In this course we will explore the creative use of cinematographic sound through non conventional instruments of sound capture. Our focus will be the construction of a colective audiovisual piece developed on the basis of practical exercises of exploration and discovery of sound ambients. We will work with parabolic microphones, seismophones and other devices conceived to capture frequencies and vibrations normally imperceptible to the human ear. Through these means we will approach listening as an active practice, expanding the limits of sound perception and its expressive use in a collective creation. sa

Program The focus of this workshop is to deconstruct and demystify the use of visual references. Far from being a crutch or a copy, references are a tool to diversify and feed our visual vocabulary. Taking photography as a starting point, the process invites a creative dialogue with the image — questioning it, dismantling its structure and emotion — so that, based on this analysis, and in an act of translation and expansion, a new image can be created.

Program In this course we will develop cinematographic ideas through writing. Throughout the workshop we will explore the fundamentals of screenplay writing: narrative structure, building of characters, development of dialogue and dramatic turning points. Through individual and collective exercises each participant will work on the development of na idea, from its initial conception to a more advanced form of writing. Our main objective is to promote writing as a creative and flexible process, understanding the screenplay not only as a technical tool, but as a space open to experimentation and to the possibilities of contemporary cinema, including proposals of non-fiction and hybrid forms. No previous experience is required, only the will to write, share and explore stories.
