Program Experimentation and execution of intensive and continued audiovisual exercises aiming at the development of a personal cinematographic language. The year will be divided in 3 parts. In the first of these periods, special emphasis will be given to practical exercises developed out of the classroom and subsequently discussed in group sessions. Exercises aim at reflecting an adequate relation between point of view, cinematographic vocabulary and finalized object, thus enabling the participants to develop a personal project. The second period will be dedicated to writing and to the discussion of the annual personal project and its pre-production. Finally, the third part of the year will deal with the actual shooting and with the discussion of the material thus obtained. Montage is oriented by the teachers until the work is concluded. The course will benefit from the participation of guests who will contribute with their experience and specialized skills to a widening of the students’ compositional horizon.
