Live Model is the situation par excellence of observation drawing. The study of the human body (in motion, at rest, posing, etc.) and the experimentation with different techniques, scale, lighting and modes of composition promote an understanding of the mechanisms of attention and of the gaze that lie at the very core of the drawing gesture.
