Jewellery has existed since the dawn of humanity and yet, compared to other artistic fields, it is little studied. We all know what jewellery is, or at least we all have an image of it which, in reality, may not correspond to the more contemporary works of today's jewellery artists.
But what are we talking about when we talk about jewellery? What is contemporary jewellery?
We will travel in the world of contemporary jewellery organizing our journey in a thematic fashion. We will get to know some of the major artists in today’s jewellery, always trying to illustrate our quest with a great variety of works and establishing bridges with other artistic areas.
