Evening Course in Ceramics 3 is the thrird and last year of the Evening Course in Ceramics. The partici-pants’ progress is evaluated by various teachers and formally confirmed, twice a year, by the head of de-partment. Throughout the school year individual portfolios – ideally consistent and diversified - will be built. Distinctive characteristics of Ceramics 3: strong emphasis on personal, autonomous authorial work; command of diversified ceramics techniques; pieces in bigger dimensions; fluency in building with coils, slab and carving blocks; different types of finishes and modes of construction; importance attributed to experimentation and concentration as factors of rigour and progress. Participants are expected to accompa-ny the firing of pieces and become autonomous in the use of kilns.
